Nationally syndicated columnist joins Hugh Hewitt in support of conservative Wagner
Irvine, California – One of America's most influential conservative voices has thrown her support behind Don Wagner in the race for the Republican nomination for California's 70th Assembly District.
Michelle Malkin, a nationally syndicated columnist, bestselling author, and leading voice in the conservative movement endorsed Wagner calling him "A great man of faith."
Malkin, whose syndicated column is carried across the county, is the latest prominent conservative voice to support Wagner in his race to succeed Chuck DeVore, who is running for the U.S. Senate. Hugh Hewitt, a leading conservative voice on talk radio also endorsed Wagner calling him an "ideal candidate to communicate the message of conservatism."
"Michelle Malkin is one of the most fearless, articulate, and passionate advocates of our conservative values in America today. I appreciate her tireless efforts and her support in this race. I am proud and honored to have her on my side," said Wagner. "The fact that nationally recognized conservative leaders are getting involved in the race is a statement about how important it is to our country to fix the mess in Sacramento. California has a tremendous impact on our national economy and getting our finances straight is imperative."
Don Wagner and his wife, Megan, and their three children live in Irvine. He is a graduate of UCLA and the University of California, Hastings College of Law. Don has been elected to three consecutive terms on the Board of Trustees of the South Orange County Community College District, and currently serves as the Board's president.
